I love
I expect,
Am hurt.

Turn into,

No hurt
No expectations
No love

Am Scared..

  3. So much truth in this! I can totally identify with this. Anytime you love, you have expectations, then inevitably you get hurt. I have learned to expect nothing, so when I get something, I am ecstatic. Most of the time it works. Still, I am not perfect. While I can keep most people at arm’s length expecting nothing in return, I still expect a bit from my husband and kids which gives them the power to hurt me. I guess that is life.

  4. Expectation kills! It’s journey from scared to sacred. lovely post,

  5. Expectation brings discontent. Have none and you won’t be hurt.

  6. So so true…! I bet though the ones who profess ‘no expectations’ don’t (can’t) practice it themselves…

    • Yeah, it’s hard but not impossible. Time and nature teach us everything, it’s on us how and what we learn. 🙂
